The A2O Lite NEON dance is the two-person opening of "NEON", danced by A2O LITE members Xili and Aijing. It is a duo intro, not the full group routine, and it is the part that AI creators remake. Make your own version from photos.
What the dance is
"NEON" is A2O LITE's debut single, released on October 13, 2026. In the video and on stage it opens with a short routine for two members before the full group takes over. SBS Star reported that Aijing's single-leg turn was called the "killing part". The exact length and order of moves in the original are unconfirmed: no outlet we checked lists them, and the only timings we have seen are from unofficial sites.
Who dances it and who made it
- Dancers: Xili and Aijing, two of the nine members. Spellings of member names differ across outlets.
- Choreography credits: J Black said he took part in creating the two-person intro; Lee Dong-gyu and Choi In-young of Cream Dance worked on it as well (SBS Star, Tenasia).
- Label: A2O Entertainment, founded by Lee Soo-man.
Credit for the choreography of the full song is unconfirmed. A2O Lite Neon AI is not affiliated with the group, the label or the choreographers.
The moves
The AI trend uses this sequence. These timings are from the 15-second reference clip we use, not from the label.
| Time | Beat | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 0.0–1.5s | Alone | Wide shot. The first dancer stands still in the middle of the frame, facing the camera. |
| 1.5–3.5s | Pop-out | The partner pops out from behind with a hair whip; both lean toward the lens. |
| 3.5–5.5s | Hand wipe | A flat palm sweeps across the lens: the transition the trend is known for. |
| 5.5–7.0s | Head whip | Close-up: one dancer whips her hair round and locks eyes with the camera. |
| 7.0–8.0s | Point | Both lean in shoulder to shoulder, arms crossed, pointing straight at the lens. |
| 8.0–13.0s | The intro | Back to the wide shot: the duo intro in sync, wide stance, deep knee bends, a back turn and a high kick. |
| 13.0–15.0s | Rush | Both rush up to the camera, hair flying, and land the final pose. |
Why a duo
A two-person intro is what made the trend travel. It gives creators something to share: a friend, a partner, a sibling or two pets can each take one part. The pop-out and the hand wipe also give the clip a clear shape inside 15 seconds. A2O Lite Neon AI turns that shape into an AI clip: upload two photos (or one of both), pick one of 6 dances, and get an MP4 with the NEON intro audio in about four minutes. Solo Park does the whole intro as a single dancer. More on the trend and its timeline.
